I have been tutoring privately since 2014, and teaching in Early Childhood classrooms since 2016, including Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade. After completing my undergraduate studies at NYU, I spent a year in Paris teaching English to young children ages 3-10. This is where I fell in love with this age group. When I returned to NYC, I began working at NEST+m, a public Gifted and Talented program, solidifying my interest in gifted education. From NEST+m, I moved uptown to Hunter - completing my graduate studies by night, and teaching in Hunter College Elementary School by day. Hunter is another fantastic program for gifted children; I also completed by advanced degree in Gifted Education at the College. Most recently, I have been teaching 4s and 5s in a Universal Pre-K program in Astoria, Queens, in a diverse General Education setting.

 

I live in Astoria with my chocolate Labrador, Teeny, who serves as my mascot for Teeny Tutoring!
